Notable Atlantic piece on some of Google’s latest mucking about in the augmented-reality space, which continues to interest me without consuming me.
The tools to consume AR content still kind of suck, even while the experience can be sporadically amazing. There’s some intriguing stuff from Field Trip, Google’s internal skunk works profiled in this story.
I still think it’ll be a while before I get stuff that I care about, and it appears it’ll only be on a Google device, so that’s a limit too.
